Koetstra and Hietala are Aces

It was nice to get back to golf again after last weeks rain out and two golfers had even more reason to celebrate the round.

Andy Koetstra and Kory Hietala each shot a hole-in-one this evening. For Hietala it came on hole 3 with a 7 iron and for Koetstra it was jarred on hole 15 with a PW.
Andy and Kory all smiles after their aces tonight.
Congratulations to both of you.

The standings saw a bit of movement as the Fivesome dropped out of third place while the Whizbangers now have some company in second with the KGB. The Fat Shafts increased their lead atop the standings with the low round of the night. Five teams in total  posted scores in the 90’s.

Grabbing all six points in their matches tonight were the KGB, CCCP, Dubbers, Southpaws and the Fat Shafts. The Rolling Stones earned four points while the Whizbangers took two points.

The Closest to the Pin winners were Mark Adams on hole #7 and Marsh Ferguson on hole #16. The 50/50 winner was Denis Schick.
